The Wisconsin Black Art & Culture Expo is Back For 2024!
Announcing the Annual Wisconsin Black Art & Culture Expo is back for 2024. Wisconsin's largest celebration of Black artistic contributions to Wisconsin and the world! A TWO month long series of events for art appreciators, collectors, music lovers, children and adults. A very unique annual event that features a variety of community collaborations, that kicks off for Black History Month!
This year we add several new elements and also NEW sponsors!
As event venues for 2024, we've added Racine Theatre Guild ,and America's Black Holocaust Museum and the City of Racine. Also from sculpture workshops at Lemon Street Gallery & ArtSpace, Inc. to the curated art show at UW-Parkside College of Arts and Humanities and Mahogany Gallery & Artspace by Scott Terry and the artist talk backs at Racine Art Museum, Expo 3 will be chock full of fun, education and community for all !
The 3rd Annual Wisconsin Black Art & Culture Expo kicks off Feburay 10, 2024 with the Black Tie Kick Off Gala. Mark your calendars!
Last year, the Expo supported over 20 Black owned businesses, infused thousands of dollars into the Racine economy, and brought visitors from across the United States to our beloved Racine, Wisconsin.
Support the arts, the community and the many contributions of Black creatives in visual art, dance, literature, music and more!
