MBACC to Hold Press Conference

The Press Conference

We have been in discussion with the City of Racine and Mayor Cory Mason about our development project to build Racine's first Black historical museum and cultural center.

Our plan calls for this property to be a catalytic project for our community and the region and to finally have a physical home for our storied history here in Racine County.  Our presence in Racine County  has existed since the beginning of our communities establishment.

Our initial, preliminary proposal currently has been in the hands of the City of Racine Community Development Authority (CDA) since October 2021 and we're looking forward to a vote soon.  It currently has not been voted on and currently still sits in committee.

We will be announcing further developments and our conversation with the City of Racine at our first press conference on Saturday, March 5, 1PM at 1422 Washington Ave.

We invite the community to attend the press conference to learn more about MBAAC, our project and the status of our proposal to aquire property owned by the City of Racine.

Space is limited for the press conferenc.
