2nd Annual MLK Art Contest with Racine Unified

Racine Unified School District and Mahogany Gallery 2022-23 MLK Essay and Art Contest (en español) is now accepting submissions! This year contest participants are invited to submit an essay or piece of artwork that responds to this statement from Dr. King:

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that." 

Submissions are due Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 4 p.m. You may sign up to participate here. 

Winners will be notified by Wed., Jan. 4 and will be recognized at Mahogany Art Gallery Sat., Jan. 14.
