An official event of the 2nd Annual Wisconsin Black Art & Culture Expo

The Black Tie Kick Off Gala is the official kick off event for the 2nd Annual Wisconsin Black Art & Culture Expo (EXPO2) .  Produced by Mahogany Black Art & Cultural Center and Mahogany Gallery, co-sponsored by the University of Wisconsin Parkside.

The Harlem Renaissance themed evening features a live band and DJs, presentation of the Legacy In the Arts Awards, the Collector's Conversation, the private advanced opening of Black Futures Art show, signature libations at the cash bar, eclectic hor's de vour stations, and a dance floor to dance the evening away. 

Dress to impress in the spirit of the Harlem Renaissance, the Gala will be a beautiful evening of celebration of Black contributions in the arts in all of its forms.

The Wisconsin Black Art & Culture Expo. 2023, affectionately referred to as Expo2,  is collaborative and inclusive community celebration of Black creatives in the arts.  Expo2 is a two-month long series of events that encompasses activities held at UW-Parkside, Mahogany Black Arts & Cultural Center, and other venues throughout Racine and Milwaukee.
