An official event of the 2nd Annual Wisconsin Black Art & Culture Expo
Chicago-based prolific art collector, Patric McCoy will be a guest speaker at the 2nd Annual Wisconsin Black Art & Culture Expo (EXPO2). EXPO2 is the largest celebration of Black History Month in the State of Wisconsin, a two-month-long series of events celebrating Black creative contributions in the arts.
McCoy will be interviewed by artist and educator, Mutope Johnson during the Hatlem Renaissance themed, Black Tie Kick Off Gala on Saturday, February 4th at UW-Parkside.
McCoy and Johnson will speak on the value of art collecting, ways to start and build your collection, the importance of Black art and other relevant topics centered around collecting Black art.
The red carpet will be rolled out for the Harlem Renaissance themed Black Tie Kickoff Gala is a ticketed event that features a large selection of catered and delectable hors d'oeuvres, live bands, the unveiling of the Black Futures Art show, the Legacy In the Arts Awards, signature libations and more!
